Sisterhood Events
Sisterhood events can range from lunches at Regattas to planned events that make us closer as a sisters. Our recent events include a movie night, pottery painting, and a ghost tour through Williamsburg. All of our sisterhood events are filled with laughs and memories that last a lifetime!
We also mix with sororities, fraternities, and other clubs and sports teams on campus in fun events. Recent mixers have found us with Sigma Phi Epsilon cooking out at the JR Courts, Delta Upsilon playing paint twister, Zeta Tau Alpha having a girls movie night, and the CNU Rugby team learning how to play rugby.

Formals and Semi-Formals
Alpha Phi hosts two formal events throughout the school year! Our Semi-Formal event is held on campus, while our Formal event is hosted off campus at different venues. This year our Formal was held at the Mariner's Museum and the theme was "A Night Under the Big Dipper" Our formals are a chance for sisters and dates to let loose and have a great dinner followed by fun and dancing. You never know what's going to happen at an Alpha Phi formal!
Retreats
Retreats are a chance for sisters to bond on a deeper level. A year ago, our retreat took us to Virginia Beach for a weekend, and this year, sisters bonded though attendence at the William and Mary ropes course.
Scholarship
The GPA requirement to rush Alpha Phi is 2.6. Sisters must maintain at least a 2.6, but as a sisterhood we strive to exceed this minimum. There are a few programs in place to help sisters keep and exceed their academic goals. We have multiple incentives for sisters to achieve and maintain good grades that are fun and encourage sisters to study. Some of the academic programs we have in place include: smart cookie and the go program!
